Your insights are definitely valid...As per socialized medicine AND freedom...it almost seems impossible to coexist. I truly don't want to be in a situation where a neighbor in tough times will incite resentment from me instead of charity and consolation; birth with anger and frustration; and tragedy with the passivity of a pack mule.

Freedom is a double edged sword...and with freedom comes responsibility...just as in business, you take risks...except the IOU will be paid in the end with pounds of flesh. I don't know if the government's job is to make sure everyone is happy...or to protect American Freedom...it seems clear that the government is confused about that itself....

How can you in all seriousness compare a report of abuse from a "psychic" to a report from a "pediatrician"? Are you comparing yourself to a psychic? Very strange reasoning...

Well, actually, I am. I exercised judgement and disobeyed the law long enough to determine that it did not apply. The school worker obeyed the law perfectly: he/she reported suspicion of abuse -- granted, a very flimsy suspicion, based on a psychic vision, but the law does not specify that the suspicion has to be supported by evidence. report them all, let the ACS sort 'em out, is what the law says. I hope you understood that much.
